Accra, Ghana – The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) has officially launched the 5th Chamber Business Awards—its flagship initiative celebrating excellence, innovation, and responsible leadership across Ghana’s private sector. Since its inception in 2017, the Awards have become a national benchmark for business performance and corporate distinction.
The Chamber Business Awards honour businesses and individuals whose contributions continue to strengthen Ghana’s economic foundation, drive competitiveness, and champion sustainable development.
Award Categories
The 2025 edition introduces an expanded framework of categories to reflect the evolving dynamics of Ghana’s business landscape:
A. Business / Corporate Awards (Competitive):
Agribusiness, Arts and Crafts, Automobile Dealerships, Banks, Rural Banks, Civil Engineering, Hospitality, Emerging Businesses, Fashion, Life Insurance, Non-Life Insurance, Airlines, Shipping Lines, Road Transport, Logistics, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Trading, Telecommunications, Professional Services, and Media Houses.
B. Regional Awards (Competitive):
Recognising outstanding businesses in GNCCI's operational zones: Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Tarkwa, Wa, and Koforidua.
C. Personality Awards (Competitive):
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Chamber Businessman of the Year
Chamber Businesswoman of the Year
D. Special Awards (Non-Competitive):
Reserved for honorary recognitions, institutional impact, and lifetime achievement.
Eligibility and Evaluation
The Awards are open to all legally registered businesses operating in Ghana for a minimum of two years. Applicants must demonstrate a consistent track record in business performance, good governance, and ethical leadership.
This year’s evaluation framework also incorporates Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics and prioritises regional inclusivity.

This theme underscores GNCCI’s ongoing commitment to deepening engagement between the private sector and public institutions in shaping Ghana’s economic transformation.
